FAQs
-
Yes! When performed by a properly trained and certified professional, chiropractic care is very safe. Dr. Tyndall is certified through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA), ensuring each adjustment is precise, and appropriate for your animal’s needs.
-
Common signs include stiffness, reluctance to move or turn, uneven gait, decreased performance, behavioral changes, or discomfort during grooming or saddling. Chiropractic care can also be part of a regular wellness routine.
-
Each initial appointment begins with a case history and movement assessment. Dr. Tyndall will evaluate your and/or your animal’s history, spine, joints, and posture. You’ll receive education on what was found and what to expect for aftercare and follow-ups.
-
Initial visits (depending on small vs large animal) typically take 30–60 minutes, and follow-up sessions are usually 15–45 minutes, depending on the animal’s needs that day. For our human patients, an initial consult is approximately 45 minutes, and follow-up sessions are 15 minutes.
